That funny looking symbol between our names is probably the most important thing you need to know about us. We are a totally bonded girl/boy pair. We’re 6-years-old and weigh 98 lbs and 132 lbs. We’ve lived together on a farm our entire lives but we’re not littermates, just BPFF—Best Pyr Friends Forever. And if we’re out of each other’s sight, we call out just like you humans do to find your favorite person. Our foster mom thinks we lived inside at some point because we know exactly what to do with a dog bed. And so far, we know where to—and not to—potty as well. We like people, dogs, cats, and being loved. We share treats but I’ll confess, I don’t like sharing my food with Darby. It works out OK most of the time since he’s an Eeyore-kind-of-guy, laid back without a care in the world. I’m mostly calm too, except during storms. He tries to comfort me, but thunder is just so scary, I need both people and Darby to help me feel better. I have Darby forever; do you want to be our person and my storm guardian? If yes, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below.Apply to Adopt Contact Us
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
