Moving can be a new adventure or a sad goodbye. For this 4-year-old, 97 lb. girl, it was a sad goodbye for me and my mom. She has to move to a very small, very far away apartment and I can’t go. Please don’t judge her, things happen to people and dogs, now it’s time to find the silver lining—and my next best home. GPRA says I’m THE sweetest dog who loves people, kids, and cuddling on the furniture. I’m housetrained and you can leave me home alone for hours without worrying about anything. I’m good with other dogs but have been known to sound a slight growl to remind them to leave my food alone. Just a growl, though, nothing more. I happily ignore cats and can be enticed to do just about anything for a piece of cheese. That’s my favorite food, which is news you can use since I need to practice walking on a leash and some socializing. I’m a bit skittish, some say passive, but I just met a patient and kind trainer who is helping me gain confidence. I’m sure they’ll pass along plenty of tips. Hi, my name is Neva.  I am around 5 years old and in need of a new home.  I was adopted a few years ago by a wonderful family who showed me a lot of love for the last three years.  My family had to come to the difficult decision that with my daddy having to travel a lot and my mommy having severe allergies with me around, that if was best for all parties that I find another home.  I am sad to think that I might not ever see this great family again, but I am very hopeful that my new family will love me just as much if not more.  I am wonderful house manners and I am good with other dogs and cats.  I LOVE children and hope that my future home will allow me to have access to them so we can play together and take longs walks together.  Help me find my forever home soon.  For more information about me, please contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com
