Welcome, Pyrenees Friends! I’m Willow, and I can’t wait to meet you! While I’m not willowy, I’m a big pyr girl with good energy. When I meet new people, I take a while to warm up, but once you win me over, I like the attention. My GPRA friends say I also walk well on the leash. Another way I’m wordly-wise is that I’m basically housetrained; I haven’t had an accident yet! Sometimes, on leash, I can be a bit wary of other dogs, especially alpha dogs, and bark. I’ve lived my whole life with other dogs, though, and they make me feel at home. In my new home, I need a beta dog who is a large dog like me to be my companion. I find cats to be winsome too if you happen to have a kitty cat in your home. My GPRA friends also tell me I like to bark, so let me go ahead and say, “Woof, woof, woof, woof” which means, “please take me home!”Apply to Adopt Contact Us
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
