My Story

Hi, I’m Snowball! 🤍

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart, I think we might be the perfect match.

I’m settling into my foster home more every day, and my personality is starting to shine. When I first arrived, I was pretty overwhelmed. I had been through a lot and dealing with painful ear infections that made it hard for me to hear. But with love and medical care, I’m feeling so much better and gaining confidence every day.

My favorite place is wherever my people are! I love following them around the house just to make sure we’re together. As I’ve gotten more comfortable, I’m learning that it’s okay to relax while they move around. I still like to keep an eye on them, though—I just love being part of the family.

I’m a pretty laid-back guy who enjoys a nice walk, but I’m definitely more of a couch potato than a marathon runner. My foster family says my favorite time of day is the evening, when I suddenly get a burst of playful energy. That’s when you’ll catch me doing zoomies, chasing my tail, and acting like a puppy again! It makes everyone smile.

People are one of my favorite things. I love meeting new friends and secretly hope everyone I pass will stop to give me a pat. If visitors come over, I might let out a bark at the door, but once they’re inside, I’m ready for all the love and attention they’ll give me. Belly rubs, head scratches, back rubs…I love it all! And if you stop petting me too soon, don’t be surprised if I gently nudge you with my head or offer you the famous Great Pyrenees paw.

I’m also getting healthier every day. I wasn’t eating well when I first arrived, but now I enjoy my meals and even look forward to treats! My foster family loves seeing me eat like a happy, healthy dog again.

Because I’ve been through so many changes, I feel happiest in a calm home where someone is around much of the time. I form strong bonds with my people and just want to feel safe and secure. A quieter home without lots of hustle and bustle would be my dream retirement spot.

I’m still settling into home life, so I’m looking for a family that will be patient as I continue to build confidence. Every day I become a little more comfortable, and my foster family says it’s been wonderful watching me find my voice, relax, and simply enjoy being a dog again.

If you’re searching for a sweet, gentle soul who will quietly follow you from room to room, melt into your pets, and be forever grateful for a loving home, I just might be your perfect match. I can’t wait to spend my golden years with a family of my very own. 🐾

My Story

Hi, I’m Willow Rose!

I’m a sweet, soulful Great Pyrenees mix who’s been through a big life change. My beloved person passed away, and now I’m living with a kind foster family. It’s been a lot to adjust to, but I’m doing my best to settle in. I’m ready to find a new forever home where I can feel loved and secure again.

I’m fully housetrained (always!), and I politely let you know when I need to go out by heading to the door. I love the outdoors — especially if I can find a nice sandy spot to dig myself a little cool-down nest under the porch on a warm day. But I also adore coming inside to nap on my couch (yes, I claimed one) or curl up for snuggles. I’m a great mix of independence and affection.

I’m friendly with other dogs as long as we’re introduced slowly. I had a German Shepherd brother and I lived peacefully with four cats.

I can be a little shy with new people at first, but once I feel safe, I’m all in — sometimes even offering my signature standing hug!

I know my basic commands like sit, stay, come, off, and down, and I’m easy to handle on a leash. I don’t mind riding in the car, and I even enjoy a good run if you’re up for it. Rain isn’t my favorite, and I’m not a fan of kennels, but otherwise, I’m pretty easygoing.

I love having a “job” like watching over the yard, but I’m just as happy relaxing inside with my people. I’ve got a heart full of love waiting to share with the right family.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart, a playful spirit, and just a touch of charm, I’d love to meet you.

With love,
Willow Rose 🌹
