I can crawl, shake paws, and high-five on command. Yep, I’m a 3-year-old, 89 lb. well-cared for boy who needs a new home. I do get along with SOME canine types and lived with two but, I’m ready to try life as the one-and-only, center-of-attention, cuddle-with-you-on-the furniture family dog. I’m house trained, walk well on a leash, enjoy car rides, and definitely like kids. I don’t think that I like cats but maybe we can test that out. I’m also afraid of fireworks and gunshots, and I need calming medicine (do humans call that sedation?) for nail trims. Oh, a couple things about food: I love yours so much I’ve been known to snitch it if I’m home alone and not crated but I do not share mine with other dogs. Red licorice has been one of my favorite snitches, and bananas. I really like bananas. In fact, I’m pretty protective of it. So, if you’re looking for an only Pyr to spoil, show off to your friends, and who can help you practice shaking hands for when you meet new people, I might be your guy. We can talk about it more if you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

Hellllo! I am Koda S., a big handsome fella! I am almost 4 yrs old and weigh about 90 lbs. Life has changed a little bit with my former family so they contact GPRA to help me find the best fur-ever home. I got a summer haircut that is starting to grow back now. I looked like a lion! I could also use a few extra meals to get me in tip-top shape. I love my people and most dogs too. Cats are super snuggly so I like them too. I haven’t met too many of those smaller people so we need to work on that. I am pretty good at monitoring my fence, so I would love to have a backyard to watch over. A fur-ever home with a big comfy sofa would be pyr-fect! Just let GPRA know that I’m your guy at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Good morning, good afternoon, hello! I am Becky B, a pretty gal about 4 years old. I’m a little on the slim side right now, but still a big girl at 89 lbs. I was out of my own for a while so my coat got dirty and matted. I had a spa day and I needed a bit of a haircut to get all of the matts out. Good thing I am eating well now and it will be back to gorgeous in no time! I am doing really well in my foster family’s house. I have some other dog friends and learning so many new things. I have a feeling life is going to be good! I really want to have a family of my own. Would you please let GPRA know that I am the girl for you? You can get in touch at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hi! Hi! Hi! Paladin’s my name and fun is my game! I am 1.5 years old and 89 lbs and I am a happy pup! I am super sweet and affectionate and love, love, love attention! I had a great girl that was taking care of me but she needs to focus on her school work. Me, I am going to work on some training too. I do pretty well in the house and really like other dogs. I just like to go and visit my friends in the neighborhood. You know, I was a little lonely when my girl was at school so, off I’d go. If I had my own family to love, I just know I’d stay home and learn all of the house rules! I’m a smart boy and I’m ready to learn!  Contact GPRA today to learn more about me at info@greatpyratlana.com.

Hi, my name is Little Bit! I am around 5 years old and looking for my forever home. I have been with a friend, Snowflake, for the past few years guarding livestock and have really enjoyed chasing the horses around and my owners never understood how much fun that was. They were really worried about us getting hurt so they wanted to find us a better home. I am a very friendly goofball and love spending time with my humans. I am adjusting to my new life here in Georgia and loving this cooler weather. I have meet some incredible doggy friends and human friends that have spent some time with me redefining my leash manners and they say that I have improved so much. If you are interested in adding me to your family, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

BOO!  Did I scare you?  I sure hope not!  My name is Boo.  I am a big loveable teddy bear.  I am around 3 years old and just hoping that my forever family comes searching for me.  I have been with GPRA since January 2017 and have been waiting for the right one.  My foster family adores me and has invested the time and money to get me professionally trained.  The first two years of my life, I had no training, no socialization and I was a little on the wild size.  I have redefined my manners and will be a great addition to your family.  Due to my size and that I still have a little puppy in me, I will do best in a home where I have a dog similar in size and if kids are there, they might need to be bigger and weight more than me.  I do have energy so I will need an active family that can keep up and enjoys the outdoors.  I have been patiently waiting for my forever family.  It is my time now!  Would you consider me?  I promise to be loyal and a great companion to you.  Contact GPRA today for more information at info@greatpyratlanta.com
