Hi, pyr friends! I’m Puppy Paste! I’m positively pleased to meet you! Guess what? I prance perfectly on the leash, and I sit pretty in the car too. Foster Mama says I’m plum wonderful with cats, kids, and adults. Outside of my house, I like women more than men right now, but Foster Mama is working on socializing me with them. With my foster family, I love getting cuddles and belly rubs. I don’t even mind being brushed! Could anything be more pyr-tastic? My new foster family says it actually could because I also know sit, off, and down. You know what else makes me a pyr puppy paragon? I’m housetrained! I whine by the door to say, “Potty-time!” The only pyr-ticular, I mean particular, thing about me is I need a 6-foot fence because I’ve been known to dig under or jump over a shorter fence in my time. Classic pyr, am I right? Playing in the backyard or just resting in the shade is a lot of fun! Another pretty awesome thing about this pup is that I love squeaky toys! Chewing on them is so much fun, and I know people would rather I chew on my squeaky toys than their shoes. I do like shoes, but as long as they’re out of reach, it’s no problem! I’m a playful yet calm doggo like most of my young pyr brethren, and I prefer a quieter household because loud noises can startle me. Here’s the plain truth…I’m a peace-loving pup who just wants to be pampered and brought up properly with all the love and positive reinforcement in the world! Wanna take me home and make me a part of your pack?

Hi folks! I’m Acacia Joy – but you can call me AJ! I am very happy to be in a home now, and am adjusting well to being with people of all ages. Sometimes, I get a little nervous about being left alone – especially when it storms. I love when my new family is close by – it helps me to feel safe, but I also like to keep an eye on them, as would any loyal Pyr! I’m learning so many new skills from my family – like how to play! Who would think that these things my family call toys could be so much fun (and make squeaky sounds)! I have gone on some walks with my foster family, and they are very proud of my leash skills. I hope to find a family that will love me, and I can love them back and be a loyal companion. Won’t you take a chance on me?

Hello, my pyr friends! My name’s Lucy Joy, and I can feel fall in the air! Just like trees sway in the Autumn wind, I’ll wag my tail side-to-side as soon as I see you. I’m a friendly girl who loves my people. Trees tend to grow near each other, and I truly cherish being close to my foster family. Those little pinecones, I think you call them children, are also adorable! I love to play with them, and I enjoy cuddling them as well. My furry brethren are my friends too! I’m good with both cats and dogs. When I’m not hanging with my fuzzy and human family, I like to explore the house and yard. I also really like to eat! If you’re ready to feed me, just call out, “PJ!”, and I’ll come running. There’s a lot of cute and cozy things about fall, but I’m especially cute and cozy! I’m a gentle, calm pyr with a playful side, and I can’t wait to become a part of your family tree.

Since my name matches a country rock star, let’s pretend I can sing and play guitar. I don’t know anything about my past except that I came from Alabama so maybe I do have some country in me! GPRA’s vet says I’m five years old, 84 lbs., and walk well on a leash. Humans say I’m super chill with other dogs, even one who tried to eat me and those sometimes quite annoying puppies. This story is so short, I guess I can add I rode well in the car for two of the three hours. After that, I got a little vocal letting my GPRA driver know it was my turn at the wheel. I tried to move up front and he just blocked me. Otherwise, Mr. K was a very nice guy, especially because he brought me you. Or hopefully. The ball’s in your court now—hey, wonder if I like tennis balls? Anyway, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below so we can at least meet. It’s the only way to know if I’m the soul dog you’ve been waiting for all this time.

Well, the truth is the truth so here goes, I’m an 84 lb., twelve-year-old who even though I lived outside (and wasn’t bothering anyone), I need a new place to live. I’m shy, super sweet, and by the time you meet me will probably have the grooming I desperately need. In fact, I might not even look like a Pyr, depending on how much of my fur they cut. It will grow back, maybe even longer and silkier than before! I’ll happily let you pet it for as long as you choose. All you have to do is please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below.

Hi, my name is Pearl Bailey, and I am 9 years old. I came to GPRA unfortunately with my sister Grace when our mommy fell on hard times and could not keep us. With all of these sudden changes, we have adjusted well at our foster home. We do not need to be adopted together so please consider me even though I am a little on the older side. We are really a great pair of girls who want nothing more than someone to spoil us and to love us. I know some commands, I am house trained, and I love taking walks. I am desperately looking for a forever home because I know everyone will want the younger pups and just pass me by. I promise if you give me a chance, I will give you my unconditional love. Contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com for more information about me or my sister, Grace.

Hey there everyone, my name is Orchid and I am a bit shy girl at first. I am around 4 years old and weight 84 lbs. I am a very polite passenger in the car and enjoy taking rides and I walk nicely on the leash. I recently had to have surgery to have a tumor removed and I am heading nicely in my foster home. As I am get more settled into my temporary home, my foster mom is showing me the love and compassion that I have been lacking. Once I gain your trust and learn that we have a bond, we will become the best of friends. I am good with other dogs as long as they enjoy just laying around and being lazy together. If you believe that I could be the missing piece in your family, please contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com for more information.
