I made it! I made it to GPRA! Pyrs everywhere say their humans are the best and now this 2-year-old, 84 lb. boy can find his own GPRA family. When the shelter staff kissed me goodbye, they whispered a lot of nice things in my ears, but they forgot to tell me riding in a car might shake up my stomach. Yeah, that was kinda’ embarrassing. I hope it won’t happen again but if I am one of those Pyrs prone to car sickness, I bet your vet has some medicine for me. Oh, wait, I almost forgot to tell you the nice things they did say! While we hugged, I heard them say I’m good with people, I get along with other dogs, and I’m very sweet. Do those words mean something to you? If so, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below and when we meet, you can explain them to me!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
