Cooper here to tell you all about marvelous me. While I never thought I would end up being surrendered by my loving family, here I am. No worries, I know GPRA will find my forever family.  Here is what my previous family said about me.

“Cooper is an adorable dog with a wonderful heart.” (Yes, I am a fun-loving, good boy!)

Cooper just wants someone to love him, and we do not have the time. (I understand. Yes, I love being with my humans!)

“Cooper still needs some obedience training.” (I’m so eager to be a good boy that I know I will be a fast learner on the obedience thing. At least I promise to try my best!)

“Cooper is playful with other dogs but has not lived with another dog. He pays little attention to our cat.”

“Cooper will love having a backyard where he can play. He also loves being an inside lazy boy.” (Yes, I love having the best of both worlds – an outside yard to roam and play and a dog bed inside to doze the day away.)

“Cooper has learned how to escape our backyard, so make sure your fenced-in yard is secure.” (Yep, I got out. I know I should not do this, but I was looking for new friends.)

“Cooper is housetrained and walks great on a leash.”  (I told you I am a good boy!)

“Cooper likes car rides and swimming.” (Yes, I love doing just about anything with my humans.)

That’s a bit about me. Come meet me soon, because I’m a wonderful boy! Your number one bud, Cooper

Hey, y’all, I am Tiny! If you are looking for the sweetest and most easy-going Pyr, I am your girl. Since I am still learning how to be my best Pyr-self, I only have a few things to share with you. I do know that I love other cats and dogs (I lived with 9 dogs). One of my favorite things is to ride in the car with the window cracked (only) a slight bit. The breeze in my fur feels really great! If you are willing to invest the time, training, consistency, patience, and love in young me, you will end up with a gem of a girl.
Your playful and fun girl, Tiny

I’m ready for a family, so if you’re ready for a 2-year-old, 81 lb. Pyr, we might be a perfect match. My foster mom calls me a Velcro dog because I attach myself to anyone who will pet me. Oh, and she just reminded me to tell you I’m house-trained, super friendly, and can be left home alone for hours. I like playing with other dogs and seem to get along best with the more submissive ones. I’m learning leash manners it just takes me a little while to settle down because I love going for walks! Also, I’m a very self-confident Pyr so a family willing to patiently and lovingly teach how to follow the rules. So far, I haven’t barked a lot but I likely to alert you to anything I think might hurt you. Well, that is if I become your dog and you become my family. My foster mom and the GPRA people will tell you anything else they know about me if you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click either “Contact Us” or “Apply to Adopt” below.

You’ve heard of dog people, right? Well, this 2-year-old, 81 lb. boy is a people dog! I like being with humans better than being with other dogs. I even get along great with other dogs, cats and any other animal that I’ve met. My foster mom thinks that I was an indoor dog in the past and also says I don’t know how to walk on a leash. My foster family is working on all sorts of  “manners” with me and says that I’m such a good boy. I’ve also been working on going upstairs (down is fine), walking on hardwood floors, and going through doorways. Aren’t I lovably quirky? I’d never seen any of those things before. There are some really weird things that you people have in houses…and I’m loving them! You could try bribing me with a good grooming, I love being brushed but my foster mom says I respond well to verbal corrections. I haven’t been around kids much, but I’m so loveable and gentle that I bet they will be my best friends. Just please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

There are approximately 110,527 people in Carroll County who might want a handsome 2-year-old, 81 lb. male Pyr but somehow, I ended up in a shelter anyway. Thankfully GPRA is helping me find at least one person who does want me, maybe even an entire family! As a Pyr, I’ll probably do best with people who know about my noble breed and are ready to help an older guy adjust to a new life. I’m sure the GPRA adoption team will tell you anything you want to know about Great Pyrenees and once I have a foster, they will tell you anything you want to know about me. Until then, please think about emailing info@greatpyratlanta.com or clicking “Apply to Adopt” below.

I’m 5 year old Sosuke, pronounced So-sue-key, an 81 lb boy searching for a new home because my current mom is searching for a new home, too. She’s loved me since I was six weeks old; this is very difficult for both of us and I hope my new family understands sometimes things just happen. I am a calm lap dog who is very good with people, kids and other dogs, which works out really well because I also like car rides, especially to the dog park! I have some experience with ear infections and seasonal allergies but I know the right vet can help. Oh, and even though I am house-trained and never have accidents inside, maybe my new family will teach me to walk to the door when nature calls? OK, so that’s a little about me, tell me about you now! Actually, please tell GPRA about you, just email information@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.

Hiya! I am Jamie. I am a young gal, about 1.5 years old. Meals haven’t been all that regular so I am on the thin side at 81 lbs. I was out checking things out at an office in the city. The people thought it was dangerous for me to be hanging out so they took me to the shelter. I am getting to know all of the rules and meeting lots of people. I really would love to find one of those fur-ever homes I keep hearing about. If you can give me a little time and lots of snuggles, I promise, I’ll be fur-ever yours! Contact GPRA and they will give you all the info at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hi everyone,my name is Ghost D, and I am a young gal of only 2 years old.  I like to make sure there are no bad critters around your house at night and if you have little ones out in the yard, I will be right there to watch over them.  I am loving my new life with my foster family and having a blast learning to be part of a family.  I am a gorgeous gal who likes to have fun and knows when to be on my good behavior too.  There is really nothing wrong with me other than I am without a family and that is not fair.  I deserve a loving home that will cherish me and give me the love I want.  Can you provide this for me?  If so, contact GPRA today for more information at info@greatpyratlanta.com.
