You’ve heard of the Muffin man, but it’s time to meet me: the Muffin pyr! I’m a young pyr girl with a coat as soft and fluffy as any homemade muffin. The best muffins are also light and airy, and you’ll see how light I am on my feet as I prance around the yard. I love to play with other dogs, and I really would like to go to a home with a doggy friend. We’ll be closer than two muffins in a tin! A really good muffin appeals to everyone with its perfect sweetness, and my pyr-fect friendly attitude is what makes me so great with people. While I don’t think humans cuddle with muffins, they should because snuggling with me, the pyr Muffin, is the warmest hug you’ll ever receive. Muffins travel from the bakery to the nicest brunch places, and this Muffin likes to go out and about too. I walk well on the leash, so you’ll have no trouble! A muffin should only bring you joy, and I know one thing that will bring you a lot of happiness: I’m housetrained. Freshly baked muffins bring such a cozy feeling into the home, and that’s exactly what I’ll do when you adopt me!

Hi-ya! I’m Angel Bear, and isn’t that the best way to describe a pyr? My fur is as floofy and white as an angel’s wings, and I’m a big, cuddly bear too! I just love being around my foster family and getting all the attention I can. Foster Mama says the most angelic thing about me, though, is that I am fully house trained. I know my way around the backyard. In fact, I fly over the grass like a little cherub! My foster mom says I have lots of youthful energy. Barking is also a part of my spirited nature. What’s more pure pyr than barking, am I right? Another blessing is that I’m great on the leash. Nothing could be more heavenly than a nice morning walk in the neighborhood! My personality is as sweet as divinity too, so I’ll be friendly to everyone I meet. If you want to bring me along to a family event, we can even take one of those winged chariots, or cars, because I love to ride in them. I’m like angel food cake: soft to the touch with a sugar-sweet pyr-sonality! Please consider adopting me today!

Bonjour, my pyr enthusiasts! I am Bonnie Babette, and my name is very French! Paris is the City of Love, and I’d fit right in because I just adore my humans. They are as precious to me as cheese is to the French, and I snuggle them a lot to let them know how much I love them. When I see my foster humans, I am just so happy to greet them! The little ones, les enfants as the French say, are wonderful to play with, but adults are lovely too. In fact, if you stop petting me, I like to give you pyr paw to remind you I still want attention, and voila, the petting continues! Paris is also a walking city, so it is tres bien, or very good, that I am excellent on the leash. If you rather take the car, though, that is also fantastique because I am a very good car rider. I’m sweeter than any French pastry, and I’m ready to come home with you!

Hellos. I’m Bailey. Well, here I am. I have no idea why my family decided that I need to have a new home, and it’s indeed sad. However, I will Pyr-up and make the best of it.

So, here’s a bit about me. I’m your normal Great Pyrenees with my own uniqueness.

Some of my favorite things include being outside to enjoy the sights and sounds of all that is happening. If you have a fenced-in backyard, I will be Pyr-happy to have my own space.

If you have other cats or dogs, you will want to feed us separately and pick up our food bowls when all of us are done eating. This way, I will forget about my food bowl that I like to guard. Yes, I know I can improve in this area. Oh, and do not leave food on the counter unless you would like me to clean up the kitchen for you because I may counter surf. (What’s a Pyr to do when there’s food in front of us?)

Although I’m good on a leash and love walks when it’s cooler in the mornings and evenings, I will want to protect my humans from the occasional car or another dog. So, yes, be prepared. It is an area for improvement. However, this is common with Pyrs. With additional training and reinforcement, I will continue to improve.

The smaller humans are my absolute favorite. No surprise there, right? I love it when they love me because I just want to love them. You will get my Pyr paw if you stop petting me. If you have not received the Pyr paw, you are in for a treat! It’s a Pyr’s way of telling our humans to keep loving us.
Seeking a second chance at a Pyr-ever home, – Bailey
