Hi, I’m Pita, a small, 2.5 year old, 71 lb. female and before GPRA I was in a shelter with my two puppies, Etta and Frieda, starving for food and attention. Our first family gave us away but thanks to my most wonderfullest foster, things are great now. And, I’m learning about myself. It’s long list for a young dog so here goes: I’m catching on to leash walking and house training pretty well; I like playing with other dogs and tall people but I haven’t met the ones you call “kids” yet; I don’t care much for toys; and I don’t drool, dig, or jump fences. Most important, I love being near my people. I bond really fast so PLEASE be someone who will let me sit next to you on the furniture and the bed. I do not like being alone, so if you forget to crate me when you have to leave (I think you call that going to work, right?), I might chew stuff. I’m crossing my paws we can change that with some love, security, and patience. Do you like any of these things enough to meet me? If yes, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

Sweet is what I am, so Pudding is my name. I am about 1 year old and weigh 71 lbs. Everyone that meets me tells me how wonderful and sweet I am. I am a little nervous about loud noises and all of these busy streets and buildings. I have just never seen such things before! It will take some getting used to. I love to be near people and get rubs. I haven’t really had anyone snuggle and pet me and I am loving it! If you need a little sweetness in your life, give GPRA a shout at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hey there, I’m Beau T, yup, another pyr named Beau.  It seems to be a popular name for us gorgeous pyr boys!  I am 2 years old and around 71 lbs.  My mom is terminally ill and contacted GPRA about taking care of me and helping me find a new furever home.  They said of course they would so she wouldn’t have to worry about me.  I am sad to leave the only home I know but I am grateful for the love and support I have in my new foster family.  I have two furry siblings that are showing me the ropes and how to adjust to a pack. I am starting to play and see that my future is bright.  I am looking for my forever home so that I can join a family who will love me and play with me.  To learn more about me, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com today.

My name is Pilot and I am 2 years old and weight 71 lbs.  I was picked up off the side of the road and spent some time in a County Shelter.  The crew there saw something special in me and reached out to GPRA to give me a second chance.  I am a big sweet boy who rides well in the car. I am very eager to learn new stuff so that I can find a new family to love me.  All I require is someone to teach me right from wrong and spend time with me.  Everyone knows the secret to a happy Pyrenees is to scratch us behind the ears.  So if you can offer me love, affections and some good scratches, I am the guy for you.  Contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hi there, my name is Regis.  Just look at the hot mess that I am currently in.  While I look pretty pitiful now, I will soon start my transformation into the regal Pyr GPRA knows I will be.  I am about 3 yrs. old and as you can see need A LOT of TLC.  The group is still working on my medical plan and starting me on my treatment to get me on the right track.  Even though I kind of look like a science project now, I have a heart of gold and want nothing more than to be accepted for who I am.  This road may take some time for me to have the long flowing white locks again, but I will not disappoint.  My dream place to live would be with a family that understands my needs.  They need to understand that I will need special treatments with baths to help my skin get back healthy, will need a proper diet to give me the strength to overcome this neglect.  I did not deserve this!  I never did anything to anyone. I am a fighter and I will overcome these medical issues and be whole again.  To learn more about me and what my needs entail, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com.
