Bonjour, my pyr people! My name is Isabelle, and it’s French, kind of like me. Pyrs originate from France, and is there anything more French than a poodle? Well, I’m both of those things; I’m a pyredoodle! Everyone knows Paris is the fashion capital of the world, and I adore looking my best. My GPRA friends groomed me recently, and I was so well-behaved. Of course, Paris is also known as the city of romance, and I am very familiar with amour. I love people, and I say merci every time my foster family gives me pets and attention. My foster mom says ooh la la at my wonderful manners too. I am fantastic in the car, and I am superb on the leash. I’m ready to live la belle vie, or the good life, with my new family. If you want to take me home, I’ll say oui!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
