Hi! You already know my name, so I’ll tell you I’m one-year-old and weigh 62 lbs. Now your turn…what’s your name? How old are you? How much do you weigh? Just kidding! I don’t need all that information, I only need you to be a loving, patient, person (or family) who wants a mostly big dog. I mean, who knows how big I’ll get with regular meals and lots of hugs? My sister Lucy and I arrived at GPRA together but it’s probably OK if we move to different homes now. We’re both young and we’ll learn whatever our new people teach us. As soon as I have a GPRA foster I’ll ask him or her to tell you more about me. Hey! You want to be that foster? Or maybe just jump ahead to a meet and greet before you adopt met? Either option is easy, just please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click either “Contact Us” or “Apply to Adopt” below.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Y’all, I’m a Southern darlin’ from Alabama, a mere 3-years-old, slim 62 lbs. and oh-so-ready to go home. I did not like living on the streets or in that noisy shelter. Judging from my waistline, I’ve probably been a stray for some time which means all I know about myself is what the GPRA vet and her staff told me: I’m a sweetheart who likes giving hugs and kisses and also needs a few pounds. But not too many, mind you, we must consider my girlish figure! Please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below and I’m certain GPRA will arrange our meeting time and place.

Hello Everyone! I am Willow. I am about 4.5 years old and weigh about 62 lbs. That makes me a big fluffy gal. I am house trained, I love taking car rides and going for walks. I really love being brushed. I could do that all day long. I love, love, love goodies and I don’t even mind staying in a crate. I have even learned some commands and house manners. Life wasn’t so good for me, before finding GPRA, so it might take me a little while to get to know new humans. I do better if I am the only dog in the family and with children over 8 years old. I am gentle and loving and very sweet. I am looking for my fur-ever family! I’ve got my leash and I’m ready to go! Contact GPRA today for more information at info@greatpyratlanta.com
