I am SO HAPPY, finally. Hey, I’m Doggie, an eight month old, 60 lb. boy who is thrilled GPRA set me free. My first family crated me, a puppy, 18+ hours a day so I wouldn’t do puppy stuff. Uh, duh, that’s what makes me so fun! Now I have an awesome foster family, with a dog and a back yard, and they all laugh when I run, play, bounce, wrestle, bark, spill my water, and sleep in silly positions. Yeah, I chew stuff now and then and yeah, I’m learning not to play-nip or jump or dig or guard my food, but wow, this is living! Now all I need is a forever family who will love me and train me so I can be with them, and home alone, instead of in a wire box all the time. Please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below if you want to be my new family.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Hey there, I’m Kaya, GPRA’s newest tripod gal.  I’ve just arrived from Mobile AL where a nice group took care of me when local animal control found me injured.  I am 3 years old and only about 56 lbs at the moment.  I am adjusting well to being a tripod and my new foster home.  I am great with other dogs and love kids. I am a sweet girl just looking for my forever home.  I get around great and have no issues being a normal dog.  If you believe that I am the PYRfect fit, contact GPRA today for more information at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hi there, I am Freedom, Liberty’s sister. I am about 10 months old and 60 lbs. We are looking for our new fur-ever home together, because we are two little peas in a pod. We are house trained, good with other dogs and cats. We are great in house and have fabulous house manners. We know how to be silly and playful outside but still be the best girls in the house. We are crate trained, and walk well on a leash. We are a fabulous duo!  If you have a place in your home and heart for us, please contact GPRA at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hey y’all, I’m Bonny, a cute pocket pyr mix about 1.5 yrs old and 60 lbs.  I love to give hugs and the infamous pyr paw plus I know the command Sit!  The vet staff says I’m as sweet as they come!  I am in search for my forever home where I can be your best friend.  I can not recall having much of a wonderful past as I have been on my own and was never really given much attention.  I am a loving girl who deserves at least that.  I would like to also have a family that will be caring and provide me with a save and secure home.  If you believe you have the time for me, then lets start this journey together.  Contact GPRA today for more information about met at info@greatpyratlanta.com

Hi, its me Sky again.  I am still looking for my forever home.  I had a great family that tried everything to blend me into theirs but it just did not workout.  I truly will miss them so much but I need a family where I can have alot of attention.  If you recall, I came into GPRA with my sister Aspen.  She has found her dream home where she has playmates and that is what I am needing.  I am just over a year old and house trained, good with other dogs, cats and kids. I am a social butterfly and look forward to having social gatherings and walks in the park.  If you believe I would be a great addition to your family, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com
