Do you enjoy traveling? Me, too! In fact, that’s why this 4-year-old, 57 lb. girl is now a GPRA rescue looking for a new family. My buddy Blue and I loved wandering and eventually, our family just gave us to the county shelter rather than paying another reclaim fee. I wish I could tell you more but I’m counting on a foster family to teach me about, well, me. Since most Pyrs are gentle, loving, protective, and snuggly, I’m hoping the odds are in my favor and I’m already that kind of dog. I just need the right person, or family, to help me stop roaming. Or to roam with me on the other end of a really secure leash! Please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below if that’s you.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Hi! I am Abbey, a petite 2 yr old gal, weighing 57 lbs. I am looking for a great family to call my own. My original family wasn’t able to continue taking care of me, so GPRA was contacted and here I am! I am good with dogs and I adore kids. I am a little timid at first. It does take a little time for me to get to know new things. I’m working on getting used to all of these great new experiences! Beds! Beds are awesome and I love to share my new foster human’s bed. I even found THE best place to sleep…right under the desk at my foster human’s feet. I am getting plenty of love now and being treated like a real little princess. I have my own little stuffed buddy that I love to carry around and play with, I am house trained, I love walks and my favorite time of the day is “snuggle time.”  I am learning all about how to be the best dog. To learn more about me, just click on that button and contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hey y’all, I’m Ashlyn, a sweeeeeet little girl, about 1 year old.  I was found as a stray so nobody knows much about my background.  I may be house trained as the very nice lady who brought me from Alabama to Roswell understood when I asked to stop for a potty break.  I have been seen by the cute vet and she says I am in perfect health.  I was one of the lucky ones that is not affected by those nasty heartworms.  I am needing to find a lovely home where I can continue getting excellent care and lots of love.  I am on the smaller side as food has not been very easy to obtain but I am promised that my new home will spoil me rotten.  If you believe that I am the perfect fit for your family, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com
