My Story

Hi there! I’m Coke, a curious and gentle puppy with a big heart and an even bigger sense of adventure. I came here with my sister, Cola, and while we love each other’s company, I’m also confident exploring and playing on my own.

I get along great with other dogs and love making new friends—whether it’s romping around the yard or joining in on a nice walk. I’m what you might call a ā€œhappy walker.ā€ I enjoy my leash time but could use a little more practice on my manners (I just get so excited about the world!).

Food? Yes, please! I’m a quick eater and always eager for treats, but I’m not protective of my food or toys—I’m a good sharer. I’m also respectful of fences, comfortable in my kennel, and I always keep it clean.

I’m a curious pup who likes to check out new sights and sounds, though loud noises might make me startle for a moment before I come right back for reassurance. Rain doesn’t bother me, and I’ll happily lounge outside on a nice day, taking in all the smells and sunshine.

I’m easy to handle, love a good belly rub, and I’m always ready for pets and attention. I’m not a big barker, I don’t drool, and I travel politely in the car (though I might need a little boost getting in).

If you’re looking for a sweet, well-mannered, outdoorsy puppy who loves people, other dogs, and the simple joys of life—like naps in the yard and snack time—I might be your perfect match!

Come meet me, Coke, and see if I’m the missing spark in your life! ā¤ļøšŸ¶

Hi, I’m Luna!Ā

If you’re looking for a happy, playful, cuddle-loving pup who also enjoys a cozy cave nap—well, you just found your girl!

I’m currently living in a foster home, and I’ve got to say, I’ve been learning so much! I know how to sit, come when called, drop the toy (even if it’s my favorite ball!), and I’m great on a leash. I’ve even got my own little routine for mealtime—I wait politely with the pack, come when called, and eat like a lady. Oh, and treats? Yes, please! I sit for my milk bones like a champ.

My favorite thing in the whole wide world? PLAYTIME. Toss me a ball or a frisbee and watch me zoom! If no one’s around to play, no worries—I’ll throw it for myself and go wild. I also love playdates and get along great with other dogs. I think I’d be happiest with a playful pup friend who can match my energy.

But don’t worry, I’ve got an ā€œoff switch,ā€ too. After a good play session, I’ll happily nap in my crate (my cozy little den) or cuddle up with you at the end of the day. I’m crate-trained, house-trained, and a total angel at night—I even go to bed when you open the bedroom door (sometimes I need a little coaxing in the morning though… beauty sleep is important!).

I’ve been told I’m a ā€œspa girlā€ because I love brushing and showers (indoor or outdoor!). Mud puddles? Oh yes. But don’t worry—I’m just as good at cleaning up as I am at making a mess.

I’m not a big barker—just enough to let you know when someone’s around, but I quiet down quickly. New people and dogs might get a bark at first, but I warm up super fast. I haven’t met young kids yet, and I’m still learning not to nibble on squishy fingers or toes—I’m still getting used to my grown-up teeth!

One more thing: car rides. I’m obsessed. Open the door and I’m ready for our next adventure (especially if it ends in treats or Home Depot).

I’m a sweet, silly, curious girl who’s ready to find someone to love me forever. Could that be you?

Love & Zoomies,

My Story

Hi there! I’m George Michael, and I’m currently in a wonderful foster home where I’ve made so much progress. I’ve come a long way since I first arrived, and now I’m ready to find my forever family to continue this journey with me.

I’m a sweet, shy guy—nothing too flashy, but I’ve got a heart full of love once I get comfortable. I’m a calm companion who loves snuggling up in bed with my foster parents. There’s nothing better than a cozy spot next to my humans for a good nap.

I get along great with other dogs and cats. In fact, I’d really thrive with a dog sibling to help build my confidence and provide the support I need. Having a companion makes me feel more secure and helps me come out of my shell. Plus, I love running around and playing tag with my canine pals!

I can be a little shy around strangers at first but I warm up quickly and become very affectionate.

I’m not much of a barker; in fact, I’m pretty quiet. Big noises and busy streets still make me nervous, so I prefer a peaceful, calm environment. I walk well on a leash and might need a little time to feel completely at ease, but once I do, I’m good.

I eat well, grazing a little throughout the day and then happily enjoying my dinner at night. When it comes to treats or food, I’m not possessive—no worries there!

I’m easy to touch and very relaxed about being petted. Whether it’s on my head or body, I’m all for it.

In short, I’m a laid-back, quiet dog who loves a good snuggle. I’d do best with a gentle, understanding family who can help me feel secure, especially with a dog sibling to keep me company. If you’re looking for a calm companion to curl up with and help me continue to thrive, I just might be the one for you!

My Story

Hi there! I’m Charlie!

I absolutely crave human attention and would love nothing more than to be your best friend. I’m all about affection and love meeting new people—no strangers here!

I’ve been learning about this exciting new world, and I’m motivated by treats (which means I eat a little too fast!). But I promise I’m working on my manners and learning how to earn those tasty goodies. I’m not picky when it comes to food; I just love to eat!

While I might not have much experience with toys yet, I’m all about the cuddles and the adventures. I enjoy my walks and am getting the hang of leash manners—everything is new to me, and I’m eager to explore! 🐾

I’m currently working on house training and have a set schedule. Patience is key, and with some guidance, I’m sure I’ll get there in no time. I’ve been doing great with my furry foster sibling, and I’m ready to find my forever family who will continue to help me grow.

My favorite thing? Seeing the joy in my humans’ eyes when they look at me. I promise to fill your home with laughter and love. So, if you’re ready for a sweet, goofy buddy who will adore you endlessly, I’m your guy!

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying: little girls are made of sugar, spice, and everything nice! This little girl- my name’s Joan- is only sweet. My foster mama says I am made of pure sugar and cuddles! I’ve never met a stranger and will put my head right in their handsĀ because to me, humans are the cherry on top of this sundae called life. As I look to my humans for directions and for treats, I’m a quick learner,Ā so teaching me new skills and tricks has been smoother than soft-serve ice cream! And, since I’m a young pyr lady, I will need to continue to learn basic commands through positive reinforcement a.k.a treats and praise only, please! I used to live outside which means I am learning house manners, including potty-training, but it’s going really well. Just like sprinkles come in all shapes and sizes, I love fuzzy creatures of all kinds. I play so nicely and have so much fun with my foster dog siblings, both male and female. When we play, I show my warm as hot fudge personality by rolling over and showing my belly. Plus, I am excited to meet each and every dog on our neighborhood walks. Similar to whip cream, I’m light and fluffy on the leash!Ā I love to go on walks, and I have very nice walking manners. Foster Mom tells me that I am very gentle and loving towards the kitties as well. When we’re hanging around the house, I love to chase my ball and chew on my Kong toy. As a young pyr pup, chewing is a fun activity. I’m easy like sundae morning, and I can’t wait to come home with you!

Welcome to Pyrbucks! What can I get started for you today? A latte? Perfect, because that’s me, Latte! Just like you have to steam the milk for a latte, I like to get warmed up by running around the backyard. Latte milk has to get nice and frothy, and that’s how my fur will look after I romp around in the grass. As a young pyr, I’m a playful girl! Everyone knows the coffee shop is for sophisticated people, and I’m one sophisticated lady because I’m housetrained. I like to use the doggy door to go potty outside. Lattes have caffeine to give your brain a boost, and Foster Mama says I’m really smart. I learned how to use the doggy door in one day! My humans also tell me that lattes have a soft texture and a sweet taste. I’m like that too because my foster family says I’m sweet and gentle! I think that’s why I get along so well with other dogs. Right now, my best friend is my foster brother who is a male pyr. We love to cuddle and wrestle! I’ve heard lattes are easy to drink, and being easy-going is just a part of my personality. I’m good in the car, and I’m good on the leash! We could drive to Pyrbucks, or we could take a chilly walk in theĀ neighborhood. Either way, you’ll have your hands full of latte, one from the coffee shop and one at the end of your leash. Thanks a latte for considering to adopt me!

Sweet Rosalind! That’s me! My foster mama says I’m soft and cuddly like a bunch of rose petals. Roses also symbolize love, and I live up to my namesake because I have a very loving and affectionate nature. I had puppies in January, and I loved them so much that I hid them in a tree trunk to keep them warm until GPRA rescued us. That’s why they were called the Wise Litter because I made such an intelligent decision! My rosy view of life makes me good with people and other dogs too. In fact, other dogs make me feel all warm and rosy, so I’ll definitely need to go to a home where I can have a young doggy sibling to play with. My human family is just as important to me, though. Everything will come up roses as long as I have my hoomans! I would love a family where someone is home a lot as I make a great companion. The thing that really makes me a rose without a thorn is how good I am on the leash! Foster Mom says I’m super gentle when I walk, so we can have a nice, leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, and but Foster Mama says I’m the sweetest Rose because of my caring personality. While nursing my own puppies, GPRA brought in an oprhan litter, and I nursed them too. As you can see, I have a lot of love to give, and I know I’ll bring the roses to your cheeks if you take me home!
