Hi, I’m Naomi, a 5-year-old, 52 lb., slightly skittish girl who might take comfort in having a calm, gentle BGPFF—best GP friend forever. The kind shelter people told GPRA I am good with other dogs, but I don’t know what I’m good at doing with them, lol. Being a Pyrenees I’m betting I welcome ear rubs and cuddling and dislike anything that threatens my pack. Of course, I’m still looking for my pack so if you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below, we can plan some getting acquainted time.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

I have a lion’s name but I’m really a goofy, happy puppy learning how to be a great dog from all the big boys at my foster’s home. I’m 4 months old and so far, have made it to 52 lbs. I need a new family because my first one had to move to a place where I couldn’t go. They’re sad so it’s really nice of GPRA to help them feel better by helping me find a new home. Oh, and don’t worry, I’ll grow through this “puppy crown” hairstyle and people will ooh and ahh over my soon-to-be gorgeous Pyrenees fur. Oh, and you’re getting a head start on the housetraining part, again thanks to my great foster. So, what do you think? Want to take over for my foster and have me all to yourself? Forever and ever? If yes, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

I’m not a nurse like Margaret Houlihan from M*A*S*H but I am a “major” cute girl and definitely ready to go home. I heard I’m 11-months-old and 52 lbs. and believe it or not, that is all I know about myself. Being a stray feels like the dog version of a blind date, you just have to meet to know if there’s anything there. I’m sure GPRA will share more as my foster gets to know me but you don’t have to wait …if you’re ready for our blind date now, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.
