All I know about myself is that I’m a 1.5-year-old, 48 lb. girl GPRA saved from a shelter. So, I’m adopting my namesake’s background until someone adopts me. Let’s see, Zelda Fitzgerald was noted for her beauty and high spirits—yep, we can definitely call me beautiful and I’m happy knowing I have a great life ahead so check on the high spirits part. She was also a painter and I’m kinda’ like a blank canvas being white and a stray so check on that, too. The first Zelda was a socialite, which even though I don’t know what it means, it sure sounds fun. Finally, I know Zelda was a novelist so to be like her, I need someone to help me write my story. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
