Greetings from Marge! My name means “pearl,” and with my shiny white coat, I definitely live up to my name. I also live by the pearl of wisdom that being friendly will get you far in this world. Well, I’m friendly to everyone I meet! I love other dogs and, of course, people. You’ll clutch your pearls when you see how good I am on the leash! My sweet nature and walking skills means we will get to meet lots of new humans and doggy pals. I’m a young, sweet pyr girl who is ready to snuggle closer than a pearl to its shell during these wintry days. Consider taking me home today!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Hello, I’m Knola, and my name starts with “K” even though you don’t pronounce it! You’ll get a kick out of how cuddly I am. Whether we’re on the couch or in the backyard, I’ll keep close. I’m kind of obsessed with getting hugged and petted; it’s what I’m known for! I also feel a kinship with other dogs, and I would never get into a kerfuffle with a kitty-cat. Getting along with my furry brethren is a key part of my personality! Just like I’ve come to know and love people and the whole animal kingdom, I’m still learning about the rest of the world. My foster mama is trying to teach me the sacred knowledge of how to potty outside, and I know I’ll get the knack of it soon! If you just knead, I mean need, a sweet, adoring puppy who will offer you a kaleidoscope of cuteness, look no further. I’m right here and ready to come home with you!

Hi, my name is Gareth.  I am a special and loving boy around the age of 7.  I have a special gait that is causing some discomfort when I walk.  My rear left knee cap is positioned rather odd.  But that is okay, GPRA is making me all better so that I can move around without any pain or discomfort.  I want my very own family who will love me and show me the love that I want to give in return.  I love to take walks and enjoy being around doggie companions too.  The staff that is taking care of me have nicknamed me “Harry Potter” because of the scars over my eye.  If you have the time to invest in me while I take this journey back to health, I promise to repay you with unconditional love.  Contact GPRA today for more information at info@greatpyratlanta.com.
