My Story

Hi, I’m Bert Halo! 🐾

My foster family says I’m one of those dogs who steals hearts without even trying. I just love people! If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who wants to be by your side, I think we might be a perfect match.

I’m getting the fresh start I’ve always deserved, and every day I’m discovering just how wonderful life can be. I live with foster dog siblings, and they’ve been helping show me the ropes. It’s been so much fun having other dogs to learn from and spend time with!

I’m still a young guy, so I’m soaking up everything I can. I learn quickly, I’m eager to please, and I genuinely enjoy making my people happy. Right now, I’m working hard on my leash manners, crate training, and basic obedience. I already have potty training down, and my foster family says I’m doing a great job!

I’m also on a special feeding schedule because I arrived pretty underweight. I only weigh about 37 pounds right now, but don’t let that fool you… my heart is HUGE! With a little extra love, good meals, and continued training, I’m going to grow into an amazing companion.

More than anything, I’m looking for a family who will continue helping me learn, celebrate my victories, and remind me every day that I’m home. I promise to repay you with endless affection, loyal companionship, and plenty of happy tail wags.
