Charlie Tanner, here! Nice to meet you! There are a lot of famous Charlies in the world, but my favorite is Charlie Brown. Like Charlie, I have a lot of friends. I get along with dogs, cats, and kids! When new friends come to meet me, I greet them by wanting to play. I would say that I love people like Linus loves his blanket. In fact, just like Linus sleeps with his blanket, I like to sleep with my human foster brother every night! Even when my foster family goes in the car, I like to go with them too. My foster family is the Woodstock to my Snoopy; where they go, I go! Unlike Snoopy and Woodstock, though, I like to speak, or bark, a lot. It’s the pyr in me, and like Charlie Brown, I gotta stay true to myself! If you adopt me, you’ll never say “good grief” because I’m the most loving, cuddly boy with enough energy to keep up with any furry and kiddo siblings. I can’t wait to meet my new family!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Clearly, I’m a stunning girl so let’s skip ahead to all the reasons you should adopt me and my BFF, Mika, now. First, I’m only 15 weeks old and at a slight 28 lbs. still extremely portable. You can carry me—maybe both of us—much easier now than when we’re full grown. Second, GPRA’s vet was very helpful and now my thin fur is on the way to being puppy-Pyr-thick again. Third, being with Mika means I come with a designated playmate to tire me out for the next nap. Fourth, I’m stunning. Oh, hey that’s where we started! Guess that means it’s time to please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below.
