Look at the size of my paws and tree-trunk legs! I’m going to be such a big girl when I grow up. Right now, I’m only 13-weeks-old and 26 lbs. but, I’m growing even while you read this because that’s what puppies do! In fact, I’m told Pyrenees puppies gain about 10 lbs. a month so you might want to consider please emailing info@greatpyratlanta.com or clicking either “Contact Us” or “Apply to Adopt” below while you can still pick me up!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Hi, I’m Kai, a big happy boy that came to GPRA with my siblings. My turn to share about my name! I’m a 13-week-old, 26 lb. boy whose name means “keeper of the keys” and is Scandinavian in origin. What kind of keys? The key to your heart? The key to your house so it can be my house? Oh, the keys to your car so when I’m bigger I can drive? I hear grown-up Pyrs love to drive. As of now, I’m too little to see over the steering wheel but I’d love to go everywhere you’re going! The sooner we start, the more time we’ll have together so now might be a good time to please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click either “Contact Us” or “Apply to Adopt” below.

Hi I’m Zeus R, a 14 week old puppy who came to GPRA because my mom found out she was severely allergic to me so GPRA took me in. I lived in an apartment and behaved myself very well. I didn’t chew and I didn’t bark all day. Good for me, right? I know that I still have a lot of things to learn, so training would be a good thing for me. Other than that, I like everyone I meet, big and small.

Hello? Is it OK to talk? I’m Etta, a 12-week old little girl staying with GPRA until I find a furever family. Right now my sister Frieda and I are living with a very nice foster, getting used to being inside, with people, and without our mom, Pita, for the first time. GPRA saved her too, so I hope she finds a really special, loving family and maybe we can all three trade emails and pictures as we grow up. And speaking of growing up, I’m hoping for people who know puppies sometimes make mistakes on their way to being a good dog. If that’s you, or a maybe a friend of yours, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.

I’m too little to be alone! I’m Johnny and no 4 month old, 26 lb puppy should be wandering around and searching for food or hiding during storms. Thankfully some nice people on Barrow County agreed and gave me a safe place to stay until GPRA  rescued me. You can see I’m adorable and like toys when you scroll through my pictures but the best way to really get to know me is a play date. I think the official term is “meet and greet” but I’m fine with whatever you call it, I just want a furever family to love me through all my puppy stuff so we can live happily ever after. If you like this idea, too please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.

Hi everyone, my cohort in crime solving and deduction Sherlock and I found ourselves in a bit of a pickle recently and ended up at the local animal shelter.  We got a message out to GPRA to come get us and here we are!
