Hello, I’m Sugarplum, and I’m here to meet you! Everyone knows there’s nothing sweeter than a pyr puppy, so the candy name fits me just right! I know you’ll be sweet on me because I’m such a happy and loving girl. My foster mama says that my nose boops are as soft as a nougat center. Being near my people is my favorite thing! I’m good at listening to them too. Sit, coming when called, and fetch are skills I’ve already mastered. They were as easy as plum pie! I’m still learning how to not jump up when excited and not to pull on the leash, but with continued training and positive reinforcement, I will do better. Sugarplum is just waiting to be picked up and cherished by her forever family. Contact GPRA and consider adopting this precious armful!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Hello there! My name is Lane and I’m a 13 week old, 24 lb little girl! I am a PYR/lab mix puppy and just as happy as can be. My dad is a Great Pyrenees, and my mom is Labrador Retriever. While I may not be full-blooded Great Pyrenees, everyone keeps telling me that I am absolutely great…and adorable!  Let’s just say that I am be the best of both breeds!

The family who had me wanted to make sure that my siblings and I found the very best homes so they asked GPRA to help. Now, being a puppy, I’m not really sure what a “good home” is, but everyone here keeps telling us that we will have nice warm beds, lots of food and treats, and wonderful people to love and play with us. I don’t know about you, but I think that sounds just PYRfect!

I have been happy in my foster home and starting to learn all those things that puppies are supposed to learn. There are other animals and kids here so we have so many things to learn from all of them.  My foster mom says that I am ready to go to my forever home and I have had the best start possible and on my way to being the best family member ever!

If you think that I would fit right into your home, please email us at info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.
