Greetings from Cloud Nine! I’m Nova McCloud, and my foster mama says, I’m just the happiest pup there is. My joyful nature is something I get from my mom, Skye McCloud; she’s available for adoption too. What’s really cool about my mom is that she is a Great Pyrenees which means I’m a pyr too! Another part of my cheerful personality shows in how outgoing I am. Kind of like a fast-moving cloud, I love to move around and explore my environment. I’m a curious boy! Right now, I’m so lucky to have a foster brother to play with, and we have the best time hanging out with each other. I would do well with another fun-loving doggo in the home. More than anything, though, I want to be where my people are, and I’ll even climb over the playpen to get to you. Clouds always seem to be together, and I’m the same way with my humans. Getting attention is the sunshine to my cloud! We can snuggle close, and you’ll see that I’m like a cloud of cotton candy because I’m so sweet and soft to the touch. The other part of my name, Nova, means new, and everything is so new to me because I’m still a young pup. That’s why I’ll need continued potty-training, leash-training, and basic command training with positive reinforcement (praise and treats), of course! Please consider taking me home today and helping me to discover the big, wide world with you by my side!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

I’m Doc Brown, and I’m pleased to meet you! I know my namesake had white hair, and while I have helmet-head too, my hair is white and brown. My movie counterpart was known for inventing the time machine, but what makes me funky fresh is I’m good with other dogs and people. Film Doc Brown had a few dogs, and I’d wig out with them all. I love to play with my foster brother big time! When it’s time to chill, though, I am a total lap dog. I love to cuddle and curl up with my foster family for naps. If I hear something when I’m sleeping, I won’t say, “Great Scott!” like the original Doc Brown, but I will bark because I’m a true pyr. I may not have invented the time machine, but I’ll get working on it if I can speed up time to get home to you!

Hi there! Luca is my name.
I am the only male pup of the Stryker family, which makes me extra special. Our mom is a Great Pyrenees, and Dad is an Anatolian Pyrenees. So, I am an Anatolian Shepherd.
My foster family says that I am an absolutely wonderful puppy! (Yep, that’s me!)
Here are a few other things my loving foster parents said about me.
“Luca is gentle and full of personality. He loves people and other animals.”
“Luca is comfortable with being picked up and having his feet and mouth touched.” (I like it a lot when my humans love on me. I especially love the belly rubs.)
“We are working on potty training.” (Yep, it is housetraining time, and I am working really hard to be a perfect puppy!)
“We only use a crate for Luca at night, and it’s right next to our bed. We are so happy that Luca is sleeping through the night.” (I love being with my humans at night, too!)
“Luca is learning what “no” means and loves chewing on toys and chasing them around.” (Yep, I am all puppy. Eat, play, get love from my humans, sleep… repeat!)
“Luca is a 100% sweet, adorable, loving, and gorgeous puppy!” (Aww, thank you. I am going to give you lots of kisses for those sweet comments!)

Your Pyr-loving boy, Luca ❤
