Buzz! Buzz! It’s Lucy Bee, and I’m just buzzing with excitement to meet you! Foster Mom says I’m a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed young pup who just loves to play in the backyard. I run from one end to the other like a bee going from flower to flower. You’ll see some pics of me playing with my sister too. We have as much fun together as two bees in a hive, so I know I’ll be good with other dogs! Foster Mom also tells me that I’ve got a personality as sweet as honey. Even though I’m shy at first, I do warm up, and I think I’ll be quite the cuddlebug soon. Another part of my pyr-sonality is that I’m calm. Sometimes, it’s nice to lie down and rest. It’s hard work being a busy bee all the time! While bees fly from place to place, the rest of us use cars, and I am a great car rider. I think it’s because I’m excited to go to my new home. I’m ready to be swarmed by a loving family who can’t wait to help me bee-come the confident pyr I’m meant to be!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Everyone knows that April showers bring May flowers! But, this spring, you get a pyr mix puppy, instead! A little pyr pup like me is as soft and precious as a bed of roses, so I need a gentle and loving home. What could be better than snuggling with a petal-soft pyr puppy? As all pyr pooches do, I’ll start growing like a wildflower, so I’ll need positive reinforcement, which means training through treats and praise, and a lot of patience to help me blossom. Luckily, Foster Mama says I’m sweet as honey and smart as can be, so training will come easily to me. Potty-training and leash-training in the great outdoors will be so much fun! Of course, springtime is for frolicking, so I’ll want to play a lot too. Some teething toys or even a doggy sibling will help keep me busy. Foster Mom also says I’m really social and get along well with other dogs too. Take me home today to let the sunshine in and help this springtime pup grow into the delightful pyr I’m meant to be!

Hi everyone, I’m Adeline, a very cute 9-10 week old pup.  AGA Atlanta got us – my sister Caroline and I – because we were supposed to be English Cream Retrievers but when we got to the vet they discovered we are really Great Pyrenees!  So AGA asked GPRA to help get us placed in furever homes.  I am the outgoing girl who loves to get all the attention.  I have full of energy and excited about my new futures.  For more information about me, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com
