Sadie Mae
Hellos, I am the sweet Sadie Mae. Before I share my story, I want to thank GPRA for
helping me. Before GPRA came to my rescue, there were no remaining options for me.
It all started when my owner passed last year. Then, another caring family member
offered to take me in. However, I was living in a hotel and could no longer stay there. My family’s only request for GPRA was to find someone who will love me.
So, this is where I need you. Other things to share are that I am an easy keeper and a wonderful family dog. I’m also friendly with other dogs and cats. Children are my absolute favorite. Car rides are the best because I am with my humans. Oh, I almost forgot, I am
easy to walk on a leash. (All good stuff, right?)
I am hopeful that somewhere out there, someone will open their home and heart to me.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
