My Story

Hi, I’m Lola — but my friends call me Bean or Lola Bean! 🐶💕

I’m a sweet, quiet girl who enjoys the simple things in life: cozy naps, calm walks, and a peaceful home to call my own. I’m currently hanging out in a foster home with two other dogs and a cat, and I get along just fine with all of them. I’m pretty easygoing — sometimes I’m curious, sometimes I like to do my own thing. It just depends on my mood!

I’m fully housetrained (yep, no accidents here!) and very well-mannered indoors. I free-roam the house while my foster is away and do just fine on my own most of the day. I don’t need to be crated, and I don’t jump on the furniture — I know my place and I’m happy to relax in my favorite spot in the living room or office.

Walking me is a breeze — I’m easy to handle on leash and enjoy a nice stroll, especially when the weather’s good. But rain? No thanks. And fireworks? Definitely not my favorite. I much prefer the quiet.

I know basic commands like sit and come, and I’m very polite about food. You can touch me anywhere, take food from my mouth, or grab my collar — I’m gentle and trusting with my people.

I love meeting new folks and will greet strangers with friendly curiosity. When it comes to other animals or even kids, I might be interested or I might just chill — I take everything in stride. I can definitely be a loyal family dog, but I’d also be perfectly happy as a one-person companion, soaking up all your love and giving it right back.

If you’re looking for a calm, obedient, easygoing best friend with the cutest nickname, I’m your girl.

Love,
Lola Bean 🫘💛

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
