Hello, chap! Chap means friend in England, and my name suits me because I’m very friendly. Foster Mom says I’m good with other dogs. Check out how cute I am cuddling my brother in that first pic! I love to play, so all the dogs can be my mates. Mate is another British term for friend! My foster family and I are really chummy too, and I like to show them how much I love them with cuddles. When I’m not playing in the garden or snuggling with the fam, I like to chew on teething toys. I’ve been told by my foster mama that teething is all a part of growing up, so this Chap just needs some chew toys to chomp on. Chewing is proper fun, but I can be all about business too. Specifically, I am getting really good at doing my business outside, and if I have to use the loo inside, I know to use the pee pads. Foster Mum says I’m a bright lad because I learn fast! In fact, she’s been teaching me how to walk on the leash. I can’t wait to take a walk around the neighborhood! I promise to be a good chap, so contact GPRA and think about taking me home!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Phil, here! If you need to get your Phil, I mean fill, of cute baby pyr pups, then contact GPRA and consider adopting me! Foster Mama says I’m like a Philadelphia cheesecake because I’ve got a big personality overflowing with a lot of sweetness. I’m also super playful and like to bounce around the yard like a fluffy, white cloud. I have a happy, go-lucky nature that always shows through my smiles. A Philly cheesesteak ain’t got nothing on me because Foster Mom says I’m always cheesing – that’s human for smiling! All this pyr-sonality makes me extra lovable and playful, so my foster family thinks I should definitely go to a home with another dog who can be my playmate. I’m not just a prancing pup, though. Foster Ma says I’m as versatile as cream cheese! It can be both savory and sweet just like I can be both playful and really smart. I’ve already learned how to use the doggy door, and I’m getting so good at pottying outside! My foster parents tell me I’m doing great on the leash too. This Phil is ready to chill at home with you and get all the cuddles my pyr puppy heart could ever want!
