My name is Zeus. I am around 1 ½ years old and pretty underweight for my size. I am new to GPRA because the family that had me before was not able to care for me properly and knew that I needed help to be happier and healthier. I have an amazing foster family that is helping me learn to trust again and be part of a pack. I have 2 large PYR siblings that are helping me understand what it is like to be in a home where I am the center of attention. I am learning basic commands and walking wonderful on a leash. I have met new doggies and kitties and believe that I will do great in a home where I have fur siblings to keep me company. My foster mommy and Daddy really think I am special and have promised me they will do what it takes to make me whole again. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
