Yonah, here! How do you do? I’m a big male pyr who just can’t wait to go home with you! I adore people both adults and kids! You’ll be singing my praises when you see what a good boy I am. I’m always housetrained. In fact, I scratch at the back door to say, “Let me out, please!” When I’m outside, I like to bark like most of my pyr brethren. On workdays, you can even leave me alone with free roam of the house without me being destructive. Also, I’m good on the leash! I love to be walked in the neighborhood. Every day is a new day full of new smells to sniff! Honestly, the only things I don’t like in the outside world are fireworks and thunderstorms. They are too scary! I cope well, though, with some music and TV on in the background. As far as other dogs, I’m stellar! I can go to dog parks and doggy daycare, and I do really well. I lived with a small dog and occasionally a medium-sized dog, and we coexisted terrifically! Male or female dogs are great.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
