Yogi Pyr, here! You’ve probably heard of Yogi Bear, and I think we’d be friends because I like to be outside too. Yogi Bear was hanging around Jellystone Park, but I like to spend time in the backyard. My favorite thing to do is to sit on a hill and keep watch. I like to guard the yard, so I know my family is safe. I love my foster family so much! Foster Mama says I like to be wherever she is and even follow her around the house. Those little cubs called kids are fun to be around too. They like to play, and so do I! Yogi Bear also had a lot of friends at the park, and I am friendly too because I get along with big dogs and little dogs. I like meeting new people as well. Foster Mom tells me I’m an easy-going pyr. I’m a gentle giant with a happy-go-lucky pyr-sonality, and I can’t wait to meet you!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
