Great Pyrenees

Hi, All! I’m Walter, and I’m ready to waltz into your life and be your best pal! I’m a big, young pyr boy with good energy, so I still pull on the leash. My GPRA friends say that I take redirection well, though. Pulling is my way of saying, “I’m so excited!” There are other dogs and people to see! I’ll wow you with how friendly I am because I get along well with doggos and kiddos. There’s a big world out there, and with my friendly personality, there are so many people to meet! I need to go to a home with another dog because playing and running outside with a canine companion is my favorite thing to do. Plus, knowing there’s another dog in the house just makes me feel safe, especially if you’re gone. And, guess what? I’m house-trained, so you don’t have to worry about me. A warm, welcoming home and a loving family is at the top of my wish list.  Please consider adopting me today!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
