Hi, y’all! I’m Tucker, and I’m so pleased to meet you! My foster family says I’m a really special dog because of how sweet and loving I am. Foster Papa says I’m such a happy boy! I’m also special because I’m a tripod which means I have three legs. Having only three legs has not stopped me from living my best life! I can walk and play like any young pyr.  One of my favorite activities is taking a nice walk in the neighborhood, and my foster parents enjoy walking me because I’m great on the leash. I also love people, so it’s fun to meet all the neighbors! Foster Mama can say, “Sit,” and I’ll sit and get pets. We could go to the park too for a stroll because I’m also good in the car. When we’re at home, getting pets and lots of love is all I want to do. I even love getting brushed because it feels almost like getting pets! Being good during a grooming session is just one of my talents. I’m also house-trained! If I have to potty, I go to the back door to let you know I gotta go!  I’m a good housemate too because I get along with cats and other female dogs around my size. Foster Dad says I’m relaxed and chill, so I’m an easy-going pyr guy. I’ve heard that Tucker means tailor who is a person that makes clothes fit just right. Well, I don’t know how to make clothes, but I do know that my loving and laid-back nature will make me a pyr-fect fit for any home!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
