My Story

Hi, y’all! I’m Tucker, and I’m so excited to meet you!

People tell me I’m really special because I’m sweet, loving and happy.

I’m also unique because I’m a tripod, which means I have three legs. But don’t worry—having only three legs hasn’t stopped me from living my best life! I can walk and play just like any young Pyr.

I enjoy nice walks or just sitting on the porch, watching the neighborhood. I’m great on the leash, and I love meeting all the neighbors! If you say “Sit,” I’ll happily sit and get pets. We could even head to the park because I’m great in the car too! I LOVE my car rides! In fact, “CAR” is my favorite word!

When we’re at home, getting pets and lots of love is all I want to do. I even love getting brushed—it feels almost like getting pets! Being good during grooming is just one of my talents. I’m house-trained too! If I need to potty, I’ll go to the back door to let you know.

I’m a good housemate because I get along with cats. I’m a relaxed and chill guy, so I’m just an easy-going Pyr through and through.

I’d love to find a family who will appreciate my sweet nature and give me all the love and attention I deserve.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
