So, my family moved but I didn’t. A lovely neighbor took care of me, including asking GPRA to help me find a new home. They say I’m 3-years-old, and didn’t mind being lifted into the car. Granted it took me awhile to trust the person doing the lifting, but I bet that trust comes faster and faster as I meet more and more loving people. And in a double win, those people will learn stuff about me, which I can share with you! Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
