Tomas H
I know there’s a famous train named Thomas but I’m white instead of blue. I’m also only 2-years-old and 103 lbs, much younger and smaller than Thomas the Train. I do however, enjoy traveling—or roaming as us strays call it—because GPRA found me in a shelter for homeless dogs. I was with Buddy, who seems like an OK guy. It might be nice if we can keep living together but I understand if I’m your first choice. I wish I could tell you all about me but even if I was a better typist, I only know what I’ve heard my caretaker tell other humans: I’m good with people of all ages and like big and little dogs. Leash walking is cool, at least I won’t end up wandering around scavenging for food and clean water. Hey, if you have Pyr food and water at your house maybe we can set up a dinner date? You know, just get to know each other? Or to spend the rest of our lives together? All you have to do is please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
