Great Pyrenees
Hellos, everyone! I am proud mama Pyr Toastie. It’s hard for me to believe how much my life has changed after bringing seven puppies into the world in a shelter. Thankfully, GPRA helped my puppies, their handsome Pyr sire, and me. I am one proud mama and did my best by the puppies! Now that my babes are being adopted into loving homes, it is my turn to find my happy fur-ever.
Did you see the fun video of me barking at my foster human sister because I wanted her sandwich? Yep, that’s adorable me! So what’s a hungry mama to do when she sees a sandwich? Lucky for me, I got a little bit of that sandwich!
Here is what my Pyr-magnificient foster family knows about me.
“Mama Toastie is an earnest Mom, but she also has a super playful side, too! (I will have more time to play when I have raised my puppies. Will you play with me?)
“Toastie can be very chill. She walks next to me off-leash around the house. But, of course, this could be because her pups are nearby.” (Actually, it is because I love being close to my humans who take loving care of me.)
“Toastie now comes into the house by herself and lays down to chill out while her puppies are taking a pupper break.” (A mama needs breaks from the puppies. I cannot wait for the days when I can doze the day away without my adorable rascals.)
“Toastie enjoys being brushed and loves belly rubs and ear rubs.” (I’m a genuinely lovely Pyr girl.)
Your Pyr-fect girl, Toastie 🐾♥️🐾

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
