It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s the Super-Pyr! I am hoping to fly into your home and bring you lots of joy and love! In a way, by rescuing me, I’ll be rescuing you from a life without an adorable pyr puppy! To become the super-pyr that I know I can be, I’ll need lots of positive reinforcement to learn how to be house-trained, leash-trained, and listen to basic commands. As a super-pup, I’ll also need a lot of attention and bonding time. Take some time and read the story about the real-life, doggy hero that I was named after.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
