Sven is very much true to his namesake – brave, fierce, and loyal to his friends. This Sven is everyone’s bestie and proves that puppies are better than people. Sven will be a big guy, and like the reindeer in the movie, can be a bit of a klutz. Once he works out how those big paws of his work, Sven will be up for all kinds of adventures…. Won’t you take him up your north mountain? He’ll reward you with the best kisses and cuddles if you do!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
