My Story

Hi there! 🌸 I’m Suzy Q, and while I may have had a rough start as a stray, I haven’t let it dull my sparkle one bit. Right now, I’m hanging out at the vet’s clinic — they’re helping me finish healing and my skin is looking fabulous! I’m ready to find my foster or forever home!

I’m what you might call an easygoing sweetheart. I get along great with other dogs — whether we’re passing each other in the kennel or hanging out in the parking lot, I keep my cool. I’ve never met a stranger I didn’t like, and the clinic staff say I’m very sweet and easy to examine.

I walk like a dream on leash, don’t get bothered by traffic or loud noises, and I’m not much of a barker either. Just good vibes over here. I love attention and affection — if you’re looking for a buddy to hang out with and make your heart smile, I might be your girl.

I’m also proud to say I’m housebroken, I eat well, and I don’t guard my food. You can pet me anywhere — head to tail — and I even do great when it comes to getting my eyes cleaned. (Ear and oral meds haven’t come up yet, but I’m sure I’ll be a champ.)
