My Story

Hi there! I’m Stetson, and I’m on the hunt for my forever home — or a foster home in the meantime! 🐾

Everyone here, where I board, says I’m a happy, sweet guy, and I have to admit… it’s true! The walkers love spending time with me and say I’m a “pyrfect gentleman” when we walk or jog the trails together. I walk beautifully on leash and enjoy getting out to stretch my legs, then heading back for some quality time with my people. Everyone has fallen for my easygoing charm. 💛

I’m a strong, affectionate boy who absolutely loves cuddling — on the couch, in bed, wherever you are! I like to stay close and keep my loved ones company. I’m also a smart pup and eager to please. I already know commands like sit, stay, and off, and I enjoy learning new things.

Mealtime is one of my favorite times of day! I’m a great eater, I sit politely before meals, and I have wonderful manners. I’m not a counter-surfer, and I’m happy to enjoy my food and then relax. Overall, I make things nice and easy. 🍽️

I adore meeting people and am friendly with visitors. I’m house trained, appreciate a good routine, and love all the attention you want to give — belly rubs, brushing, and pets are at the top of my list. When it’s time to unwind, I’m a professional snuggler. Sometimes I even sleep on my back with a paw in the air — it’s my signature comfy pose! 💤

I’d love a home where I can soak up lots of love and attention. A secure, fenced yard would be wonderful for stretching my legs, and I’m just as happy enjoying outdoor adventures as I am curling up for cozy couch time.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a big heart and an even bigger smile, I think we might be perfect for each other.

I can’t wait to meet you! Stetson🐶

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
