Who wouldn’t love this face? Maybe you already do and need some details to seal the deal? If that’s the case, let’s get to it! I’m 1.5 years old, 85 lbs. and submissive to other dogs at the park. I suppose it’s good I get along with my own kind, but people are my favorite. Humans make me so happy I sometimes forget my manners and jump on them so they will hug and play with me. But the good news is, after you correct me, you can love on me with all four paws on the ground, too. How are we doing? Are you getting my dog bed ready yet? This might make you smile: I’m terrified of water hoses! Isn’t that silly? I run away as fast as I can when I see one. No idea why but let’s leave watering the yard or washing the car off our list of shared activities. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
