Hellos. I am Snowball Corduroy.
Sadly, my story is very similar to many dogs in Rescue, and it goes something like this. A family buys an adorable puppy. Puppy is loved. The family schedule gets hectic. No one has time for the puppy that needs obedience training, exercise, an outlet for its energy, patience, and love. Puppy, now a young dog, is left in a crate for the majority of the time. Young dog does not know how to be a well-mannered adult dog. The once loved puppy ends up in a shelter or with Rescue.
Yes, I was loved as a puppy, and I learned good leash manners. I also learned commands such as sit, stay and come. However, I have spent too much of my young life in a crate, which is not a fulfilling life.
You see, I very much want to be a well-mannered Great Pyrenees, and I want to learn. Great Pyrenees are majestic and proud dogs that like to please their owners. To be my best Pyr-self, I need you.
GPRA recommends that my future home has only adults or older teens.
If you are willing to devote the time, you will see me blossom into a loyal and devoted guardian eager to share my Pyr paw to thank you for my new and happy life.
Pyrly hopeful, Snowball Corduroy

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
