Hi new family who I hope is reading this! I’m Shelby, a 7 year-old, 70 lb female who’s family is trusting GPRA to help me choose a new home. So, I made a wish list. I would love an experienced dog family willing to keep my ears clean so they won’t hurt and watch over me as I age. I overheard a GPRA human say my back teeth look like I may have chewed a cage wall so I’d also appreciate no more crating. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
