Hellllllo! My name is Scarlet. I am just a petite Southern young girl about 18 months old and a mere 67 lbs. I have lots of dog friends and I like all humans big or small. I just got into town and I am happy, happy, happy! My foster home is awesome! I get to be in the house, sit on the sofa, and give them lots of hugs and kisses. I was outside for a long time and I was sad. My past family moved away and left me all alone in a crate, so sometimes I am a little cautious meeting new people. Some amazing neighbors came to my rescue, fed and loved me and found me a spot at GPRA. They told me that I am so huggable and lovable that it will take no time for me to find my forever home! Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
