My Story
Hi there, I’m Sawyer!
Life has been a bit of an adventure for me. I was found as a stray, and a kind family let me crash at their place for a few days. Now, I’m staying at a vet clinic, but what I really need is a foster home (or even better—a forever one!).
Here’s what you should know about me: I’m a low-energy, easygoing guy who loves people. I’m totally housetrained and even have a special trick—I knock on the door when I need to go outside! Pretty impressive, right? I’m polite with other dogs and great with kids, but I have one rule: no cats, please. Seriously, they’re not my thing.
I sleep inside, love being around people, and don’t like being left alone for too long. I’m not big on loud noises, but I do enjoy a good run every now and then. I know how to sit, I take food gently, and I don’t mind if you touch me anywhere. Oh, and I might be a little nosy—I just like to know what’s going on!
If you’re looking for a sweet, humble, and loving companion, I’m your guy. Could you be my foster (or forever) family? Let’s find out!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
