Happy day wishes to everyone! I’m Sasha!

Hard to believe a beautiful, fun, and full-of-life Pyr needs a do-over already, right? Well, I do! With Pyrs like me, our learning curve can be a bit steeper. Just keep in mind that I am still a youngster that needs consistent guidance to continue learning good leash and house manners. My progress to date has included learning commands such as heel, sit, come, down, crate-up and place.

Belly rubs are one of my favorite things. I’m also house-trained, which is top on your list, right?

GPRA recommends a knowledgeable Pyr owner in a one-adult home and a fenced-in backyard for me. They also think it will be best if I’m the only dog of the house. With time, patience and consistency, I will get better at not needing to resource-guard my favorite humans. If you are willing to give me a chance, I will continue working hard to be my best Pyr-self.

Your still learning and Pyr-fun girl, Sasha

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
