Hi there, future family! Samson here — your oversized bundle of love, certified goofball, and full-time sweetheart. I’m an outgoing, affectionate guy who believes every day should include friends, snacks, and at least one dramatic sploot across a cool tile floor. If you’ve never seen a big fluffy boy slide belly-down with frog legs stretched out… you’re missing out on world-class entertainment.

I adore people and get along great with other dogs, too. I don’t guard my food, toys, or space — I’m more of a “share the love” kind of fellow. Around the house, I’m a relaxed gentleman who enjoys lounging, supervising the yard, and occasionally playing with my dog buddies before returning to my favorite napping spot. I’m house-trained, use a doggy door like a pro, respect fences, and can stay home alone without any fuss. I’m also a pretty quiet guy and rarely bark indoors.

I recently had a spa day and let me tell you — I was a star client. I stood nicely in the bath, leaned in for reassurance a couple of times, and by the end of my brushing session I was so relaxed I just laid on the table without any restraint, waiting for extra pets. The dryers weren’t my favorite at first, but I got used to them quickly. I’m gentle about being handled and will politely redirect if I’ve had enough — I’m a sensitive gentleman, after all.

Treats? OH YES PLEASE. I love treats and will happily follow one in your hand (it’s actually a great way to guide me when I’m unsure about something). I’m still working on leash manners because I’m a strong boy, so I’ll need someone willing to help me practice polite walking — maybe with a harness to help me learn. I promise I’m attentive and eager to please.

I also give the sweetest kisses and have a soft, loving way about me that makes everyone I meet smile. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts gentle giant, comedian, and cuddle expert, I’m ready to be your best friend for life.
