Hi, y’all! I’m Samson Evans, and I’m truly pleased to meet ya! I’m used to living the outdoor life, but I can’t wait to cozy up on a quilt and enjoy the great indoors. I’ve heard Southern hospitality is legendary! When you take me to the backyard to play some cornhole, I’ll need a six-foot fence to keep me safe because I am a bit of an escape artist. One thing us Southern pyr gents have down pat, though, is sweetness, and I’m as sweet as a slice of hummingbird cake! My kindly demeanor shows in how much I love my humans and other dogs. We get along like biscuits and gravy! I can’t wait for you to pick me up, and we can take this country road to my new home!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
