Sami Pucca
Good morning, pyr pals! I’m Sami Pucca, and I can’t wait to meet you! I’m an energetic pup who just LOVES to be loved. One of my skills is giving smooches, so pucker up! I also really like to talk, or bark as you humans call it. Barking is my way of telling everyone, “Hello, World! Sami is here!” When I’m in the house with my foster family, I shadow their steps. My foster mama even called me a velcro dog because I like to stick close. Humans aren’t my only friends, though; I like to hang out with my foster dog brother too! Playing with him and snuggling next to him are some of my favorite things to do. I wish the cats would be my playmates as well, and I try to chase after them to say, “Hey, be my buddy!” But, I take direction well. When my foster family gently reminds me that the cats aren’t ready to be my friends yet, I respect it. I’m a puppy, so I need lots of love, patience, and positive-reinforcement training to build my confidence. I’m a little nervous when I first meet new dogs and people, but once I learn you’re my new furry and human family, we’ll be very close. Take me home and help me grow into the self-assured pyr I’m meant to be, and I’ll reward you with lots of kisses along the way!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
