Hello, I am Sam and ready for the big world! Did you know that a Great Pyrenees’ life goal is to protect everything and give unconditional love at the same time? Yep, that is me. As a one-year-old boy, I am also full of energy! All I want to do is play and have fun, so my previous owner surrendered me. You see, my outside area was way too small, and I got bored and learned how to open the gate to let myself run in a bigger space. Yep, Pyrs are also smart and resourceful. With training and time to learn how to be an inside dog, I will be a fun, loyal, and great companion, just perfect for any family ready to teach active me how to be my best Pyr self!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
